The Ties That Bind You: Alexis Mabille

What great taste you have Alexis Mabille? It is no wonder since the Frenchman worked in the ateliers Ungaro, Ricci and the house of Dior with Galliano and Slimane. I love a well-dressed man. There is just something special about a man in a black tuxedo with an amazing tie around his neck. So if your groom is looking for something different, here is his answer. Alexis Mabille has created ties that you would want to wear! But don't you dare. Let your man have some of the spotlight. The python skin bow tie (the first one), is to die for. See these are his other wares here.

PROMO: Shapeez

Looking fab includes ensuring that you are picture perfect. Shapeez will help keep it all smooth under your wedding dress.

The Unbelievabra Ultimate($85) and the Unbelievabra Shortee (a cropped version for $75) pulls it all together for you. It eliminates all visible bra lines, back bulges, and even the feared “muffin top,” effectively and comfortably providing superior breast support as well as slimming of the waist, tummy and back. The Unbelievabra additionally boasts molded foam cups and adjustable straps with no back bands or closures to make the undergarment practically invisible under clothing. And the hem does not roll up! The support, extended back coverage and moisture-wicking qualities of The Unbelievabra’s cropped style, “The Shortee” also makes it a great alternative to the traditional sports bra!

The Long Walk: Starry Night Design Studio

Some brides opt for roses petals or a generic tissue runner to grace their long walk down the aisle. But if you are looking for something truly unique, then Starry Night Design Studio has something a little different. You have to want to have a hand-painted aisle runner. After Stephanie decided to paint her aisle runner for her wedding, her friends asked her to create hand-painted designs for their weddings. She quickly realized that this was her calling and Starry Night Design Studio was born. The designs are so beautiful and can definitely be a fantastic keepsake of your wedding day. She Wears Vintage: Cats and Flowers

I love the mix-match patterns and especially love how she's worn her hair!

She Said:
skirt: vintage '50s via Ebay
tee: thrifted
sandals: thrift (remixed)
satchel: vintage '70s, thrifted (remixed)
watch: my grandfather's

I don't know if you can see it very well, but I'm actually wearing two novelty prints at one time! First I thought it wouldn't work, but I decided to go for it. It was quite a fun combination: the tee has little umbrellas printed on it and the skirt has little rabbits and turtles, like in that story! Or this Animal Collective video.

I wore this at the visit to the Mucsarnok Kunsthalle in Budapest.
