It was so fun walking around Oldtown Orange with Mercedez and Neil. This place has so much character and plenty of old brick buildings (that make for some really great photo backdrops). They were a little reluctant to get "kissy huggy" at first, but I never gave up on getting them to kiss.
It was romantic in a different way - I mean it's totally obvious these two are in love, and they showed it without having to kiss. But when they did kiss, it was full of laughs!

Wedding Photography Mandalay Bay Beach Resort Oxnard
Another day when it was supposed to rain, but thank God it didn't! Ziva and Jason got married right in front of the ocean, and we couldn't have had blue(er) skies. I love shooting at Mandalay Bay in Oxnard because the ocean is right there and there's never too many people walking around. Check out that colorful sky:

Wedding Photography Calamigos Los Angeles Equestrian Center
It was supposed to rain this day, but the skies opened up just long enough for Jill and Troy's wedding ceremony. It just goes to show that some things were truly meant to happen and there's nothing stopping them. If you watch the slideshow, you'd think it was blue skies all day long, but it actually rained throughout the reception - but that didn't stop the party either!

USC Engagament Pictures
I met up with Jocelle and Harry at the USC campus in Los Angeles for their engagement shots. It's a pretty big campus so I got a good walking around out of it, and afterwards I ended up going to the Museum of Natural History that's just acroos the street (more pics to come, so stay tuned). And as always, I had a fun time shooting them all over campus. I just love what I do!

Wedding Photography Pepperdine University Malibu
Jinu and Matt were married at Pepperdine University's Stauffer Chapel. The back of the chapel was this beautiful wall of stained glass (see the pics below). Outside it was freezing cold (I had a thick jacket and I was still shaking!), but Jin was a real trooper coz she was still happy to head for the ocean!

Engagement Pictures The Pike in Long Beach
Back in Downtown Long Beach - I had a fun shoot with George and Audrey at The Pike. There's all these new restaurants and shops all over this place, and some colorful walls that made great backdrops!

Engagement Pictures St. Regis Monarch Beach
We had planned Liz and Josh's engagement shoot to be in Laguna Beach, but the rain just would not let up. So on to the backup plan (it's always good to have a backup plan), which was to sneak inside the St. Regis in Monarch Beach. This is one of the most gorgeous hotels in SoCal and it 's always fun to do a shoot here. It actually stopped raining by the time we got to the hotel, but we made good use of their grounds for these shots:
