I realize that we (myself and the rest of my family) are blessed largely in part because of my Dad. He dedicated himself to doing whatever it took to get us here so that we can have a better life and opportunities. His life has been pretty much working hard to provide for his family. While growing up I had it fairly easy because of him, but I never truly appreciated it then. Well now I'm a father and I can finally see his perspective - to know what it means in having the responsibility of taking care of one's own family. Everytime I look at my two year old daughter Rebekah I feel this deep desire to give her the world. That's what my father strived to do for us, to give us the world. I understand that now (finally) and it took a daughter, a loving father, and day of watching golf for me to figure that out.
So when I get home with my (loving beautiful thoughtful glowing) wife, Lily and the cute patootie Rebekah, and they had the coolest (totally undeserved) gift ever! Check this out:
I fell in love with this thing when I first tried it at a Brookstones - it squeezes and massages away tension and fatigue from your feet, calves, and ankles. What a perfect gift for a photographer who sometimes runs around all day nonestop on his feet! I feel so loved.
