The wizard lives in the tower in the Your Highness movie as shown above, and the princes must somehow journey to the tower, avoid being killed, defeat the powerful magic - wielding wizard and rescue the lover - played by Zooey Deschanel.

As Your Highness costume designer Webb-Crozier describes: “It wasn’t a script that you could be tame about. In order to make it funny, it was all or nothing. We’ve gone medieval but also into the ’70s and ’80s. There’s a bit of French influence, a bit of Italian. It couldn’t be done in a mild way, so I just went for it.”
