pretty love: mad hatter styled shoot

Photographer Jessica Claire is amazing. Her photography style is so unique and she has been involved in some of the most beautiful styled shoots... and this shoot is just that! This Mad Hatter shoot was styled by Renee of OC Prop Girl to showcase some of her new prop collection.

The theme for the shoot came from the mix of an oversized dining table (made from an old door), a collection of vintage chairs and lots of different sized clocks... a modern take on Alice in Wonderland!

I just love the fabulous dining table set in a gorgeous field, underneath whimsical trees with sweet open frames and clocks floating above.

The table was set with dramatic black and white ceramics, vintage crockery and lots of mini clocks! There was also delicious biscuits and cupcakes (with cute vintage buttons) to enjoy.

Ainsley and Sebastien make up emerging Australian label tilldeathdouspart and are the coolest pair of peeps that I have met it a l.o.n.g while.

A wardrobe that showcases clothes rather than hide them ... who woulda thought it? Mathilde Alders that's who! Elegant and practical, this French oak wardrobe has rails and hangers that can slide out and flaunt your favourite pieces. It's also super gorgeous. x

Love turquoise, leather, tassels and feathers? I do! And Spell, a Byron Bay label headed by sisters Elizabeth and Isabella, does it all. I've just caught on to these folk, but they seriously make some of the best boho jewellery I have seen in a long while. Oh, and that bag has my name written all over it. See it?! x

Vintage Inspired Style: Japanese Fashion Brand W Closet

I first found out about the Japanese fashion brand W Closet from FUDGE magazine. I am so inspired by the photography! So cute! After seeing these photos I am very tempted to purchase the Trompe L'Oeil distressed floor mat from Urban Outfitters for AV product photos. I've been debating it for quite some time now and after seeing these images I'm nearly 100% convinced!

bits and bobs

Loving these bits and pieces from Urban Outfitters. Must Have = the scratch it world map. Every time you visit somewhere new you scratch the place on the map and it changes colour. It's fun and a different way to keep track of your travels. I think it would make a great wedding or engagement present. I'd love to know what you think? I am seriously pondering getting one. x
