alex kopps

We went to an exhibition opening the other night (here) that featured the work of Californian artist Alex Kopps. I was instantly taken with his pieces and if I were loaded with cash, would have bought a bunch. But, as luck would have it, the one that tempted us the most sold before wallets could be drawn.

Anyhow, the reason I am telling you this is because today I received the latest issue of Inside Out magazine in the mail only to spot Alex Kopps' artwork adorning the walls of well-known photographer Harold David's Blue Mountains home.

I am quite picky with the artworks that I like (as are most people) but Alex's pieces rope me in. I'd love to know what you think? Do you have a favourite artist?

est

Est, the latest online design magazine to come out of Australia, was launched this morning! As usual I have no time to read it now, but come tonight I will be happily devour it with tea in hand.

Although I've only had a quick squiz over her glossy pages since she landed in my inbox, I think I may have already found a favourite spread in 'How to style the Eames chair in any setting'. With so many online magazines popping up lately, I would love to know what you think of this newbie? You can check it out here. x

a little visit from miss rue

The March/April 11 issue of Rue found its way to my inbox this morning. Yipeee! I haven't had the chance to have a good read yet, but this feature about the new shared studio space belonging to the girls from bash, please and photographer Annie McElwain jumped out at me while I was having a little sneak peek. Isn't it lovely?

I'm loving all the online magazines floating around lately. Rue, Lonny and homegrown Australian publication Adore Home Magazine, all have me tightly in their grip. What are your faves? Do you have any other suggestions for me? x
