NY BRIDAL MARKET: Erin Cole Brings The Glamour

This almost never happens to me. But while we were checking out everything in the Intercontinental, I had to stop by one of my favorite jewelry and hair accessories designer, Erin Cole. When I walked in the door, I did not notice the tall, beautiful designer. But as I was perusing her new gems, she said to me, "Hi, I'm Erin." To that I replied, "The...?" She just laughed.

It was so lovely to meet the woman behind this incredible brand. I have been a fan of Erin Cole for as long as I can remember. So I could not wait to show you her new pieces. Can you believe that I took these photos with my iPhone? It really serves as a great little camera for me when I need to get a shot quickly. Anyhoo, you will need to see these for yourself. I am back from NY Bridal Market with some fab pictures and bridal news on some amazing new designers and collections. It was a little quiet this Market as folks are gearing up for October's Market. But I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Anne Bowen Spring 2012

Anne Bowen is always a must see collection during Bridal Market. I can always count on Anne Bowen to create a collection that every bride wants to wear. Her designs were perfect for the flower child bride or the risque bride or for the uptown girl who must have the bling.

For the Flower Child Bride, you would definitely love the "Janis" or "Peace" or "Wild Flowers." All of these gowns have lace elements which give it that "Woodstock/flowers in your hair/walking in your bare feet" feel.

For the Risque Bride, you would swoon over "The Morgan" or "Generation" or "Mortimer." You are not afraid to show off your gorgeous legs.

For the Uptown Girl, your choices are obvious - "Rockefeller" or "Hudson" or "DeNiro." These gowns will definitely make jaws drop.

From my very precarious seating, I was able to choose a favorite. My absolute favorite was the "Rockefeller." You have to see it up close to fully understand how gorgeous it really is. As you know, these gowns are not available yet. So you are in luck if you are a 2012 bride.

True to form, St. Pucchi had drama on top of drama walking down their runway. Not to mention the fact that it was their 25th Anniversary.
