Monday Funday 21: Victorian Inspired

This board turned out so pretty!  I love the bouquet that combines diamond brooches and silk flowers (stay tuned for a similar bouquet love later today).  The blush and vintage ivory color palette is just beautiful!

Monday Funday 20: Confetti & Sprinkles

The Monique Lhuillier dress at the bottom of this board is just sooo pretty!  I love how the design looks like confetti, and then I remembered the confetti cake I saw on Martha Stewart awhile ago and decided to make it into a board.  I went with a navy and purple color scheme to go with the dress and added fun rainbow sprinkles to make it extra fun!

Alternative Wednesday 20: Belted

My new obsession:  belts on bridal gowns!  And I don't mean "sashes" I mean for real belts.  Whether it's a sweet white style, a rustic brown addition or a more modern black belt... I love them all.

-Bouquet Love-

I am seriously in love with these simple but unique bouquets!  The wheat really adds great visual detail and the shape of the bouquets are just so lovely.

Alternative Wednesday #19: Skirts for Bridesmaids!

If you want to give your  bridesmaids a modern look that they can wear again (and probably again and again and again...)-- dress them in stylish skirts!  It is also an affordable option with endless choices as far as colors, patterns and styles.  You can create a fun and flirty look, a classy look or a preppy look... the sky's the limit!

Real Wedding: Amy & Nick's Awesome Artichoke Wedding

So yesterday I posted about the different ways that you can incorporate artichokes into your wedding and today I have a real wedding that incorporated artichokes into the bouquets and cake!  This wedding was photographed by Hoffmann Photography.  By the way, I love, love, love Amy's gown, so pretty.

Alternative Wednesday #18: Yup, That's an Artichoke!

Artichokes have caught my eye!  Besides being totally yummy, they are also extremely visually striking when used in different elements of a wedding.  They are also eco-friendly because you will be using less flowers.  Both green and purple artichokes add a fun twist to a bouquet, centerpiece, escort card or even cake!  I think they would add a special touch to a Tuscan or Mediterranean themed wedding also.  Check back tomorrow for a really awesome artichoke filled wedding with an amazing artichoke inspired cake!
