Engagement Pictures Olvera Street Los Angeles

I met up with Cherry and Trent at Olvera Street in Downtown Los Angeles for their engagement shoot. This place feels like you're in a totally different town, with colorful street vendors, old brick structures, and the smell of good home cooked mexcican food. It's a great place just to hang out!

Ceremony Magazine Feature Wedding Photography

Ceremony is an elegant publication for Los Angeles and Orange County weddings. They only feature a select few of the industry's finest vendors - and they have a section called "20 Weddings of Distinction".

So when Sean called me up to say I'm published in this magazine, there was no way I was gonna believe him!


So Sean grabbed me a copy and opened it to show me the Contents page, and sure enough under the 20 Weddings of Distinction, it lists Greg Bumatay! I'm so stoked I still can't believe it!

Laguna Beach Wedding Photographers

I met up with several of my friend photographers from all over the U.S. to shoot at Laguna Beach. We were fortunate to get two awesome couples that gave us so much to work with! Stacy and Stacy (first couple shown, I'm shooting their wedding in July) with their friends Kelly and Nathan, made great models on the beach.

Wedding Photography Angelo's and Vinci's Fullerton

Camille and Daniel (both from Costa Rica) are one of my favorite couples - they were so fun to shoot! Both ceremony and reception took place at a lovely restaurant called Angelo's and Vinci's in old town Fullerton. What made it enjoyable (for me) was their willingness to try different things, their free spirited attitude, and the genuine love you can see in their expressions - here are some of my shots: (see the slideshow)

Shooting with New York Photographers

It's not often that any one photographer could be so fortunate enough as to be visited by two great photographers from New York! Frank Dimeo and Luke Walker are two of my good friends from across the country. Here's us in my studio/cafe. Time spent with these two were amazing - they shot with me during one of my weddings, and what an experience that was! Needless to say, they did an awesome job and made me look like a superstar. Engagement Pictures Downtown Long Beach

I got to shoot at downtown Long Beach for Casey and Jon's engagment. I love shooting over here coz there's a lot of good spots and I enjoy the urban settings. Besides, it's a nice break from doing the beach thing. I think the urban setting is actually more natural to hang out at. We got some great shots - check out the short slideshow!
