Wedding Photography Hyatt Regency Long Beach

Congratulations to Sheri and Kurt! We started the day with a photo session inside the Long Beach Hyatt, then we walked around The Pike in Downtown for some fun shots. The shot below shows Sheri in front of a beautiful art installment in the hotel.

I always have a great time when Britney comes along to shoot with me - as she got some amazing shots of the wedding day (Click here to view the slideshow with some of our pics)

I totally love it when I'm honored as a guest!

Lobsterfest!

I hardly ever go to Mexico, so I thought it would be loads of fun to take Lily and Rebekah with me. We ended up staying a couple of days in Rosarito after Stacie and Kirk's wedding (see below). One of the things we heard that we couldn't miss was having a lobster meal in Puerto Nuevo. So I made it a point to check it out because I'm actually a fan of lobster. But man, was I in for a meal. A HUGE meal.

And so was Lily and Rebekah - they couldn't finish theirs, so guess who ate around half a dozen lobsters?!

On our way home I wanted to show Lily and Reb the Mission San Juan Capistrano - I love this place because of it's beauty and historic value. I've also shot a couple of weddings here.

And of course Reb had to take her own tour...

Wedding Destination: Rosarito, Mexico!

It's so awesome to be able to travel, so I was happy that Stacie and Kirk's wedding took place at Hotel Calafia in Rosarito, Mexico. We were blesssed with good weather and beautiful backgrounds for photography. But the best thing was that Stacie and Kirk were up for anything and they gave us creative freedom during their photo session. Allana came along to shoot with me and she got some killer images. Wedding Photography Coto de Caza

Kelly and Hector are one of the most romantic couples I've shot - beginning with their engagement session in Laguna Beach, I knew I was going to have a great time with them. I really love it when a couple can be affectionate in front of the camera and is willing to go out with me to have a fun time shooting. Here's one of my favorites from their engagement shoot:

So when I shot their wedding at the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club everything came together nicely. It was truly a fun day of shooting and capturing special moments for them. (Click here to see their slideshow)

Westin South Coast Plaza Costa Mesa Wedding Photography

It seemed not too long ago that I photographed Mercedez and Neil's engagement session (click here to see it). I remember having so much fun that day, and I was telling JT from Arizona (my friend and awesome photographer who came down to shoot with me) about how they were reluctant to kiss. But when they did try to kiss, they would always burst out in laughter! Well during their wedding we tried to get them to kiss again, and guess what they did?
Uncontrolable laughter!

Killer shot by JT, one of my favorites.

Mercedez and Neil did really great during their photo session (click here to view a slideshow of my fav pics)

Here is a shot of JT's "Blue Steel"

And we had a little fun getting the dress shots. Wanna know how I got this cool shot?

Check it out!

Wedding Photography McCormick House Oxnard

Katja and Steve met in Germany and fell in love. They had to overcome the challenges of a long distance relationship, immigration hassles, and other obstacles before getting married. But God had plans for them so nothing could have kept them from coming together, and they exchanged vows at the McCormick House in Oxnard, CA. It was a gorgeous day in the gardens of this estate so it was easy to get some beautiful images of them. Click here to see their slideshow!

Popular Photography PopPhoto

I'll be appearing in my first national product endorsement on Popular Photography magazine! What does that mean? I'll be on a major publication nationwide on a full page ad about The SureShot System and I'll be appearing on informercials for it. This product I'm endorsing is a set of photography instructional DVDs hosted by Ron Reznick that gives detailed information on everything you need to know about digital photography. It has definitely helped get my photography skills to the next level. There's a ton of photographers out there charging hundreds or even thousands of dollars for their workshop or DVD, but this extensive (extremely extensive) photography course is surprisingly just a small fraction of those other products! Crazy!

So be sure to check out the October issue of Popular Photography!

** That awesome pic of me, which is also my favorite because it's the only image of me that I really like was taken by none other than Frank DiMeo. He's my friend from New York that I had the pleasure of shooting along side with early this year. **

Wedding Photography Downtown Disney

It's another hot weekend in sunny Southern California. Luckily we had plenty of shade at Missy and Steven's wedding ceremony at Santiago Canyon. The shade under the old oak trees provided excellent lighting for us (Sean was second shooting), the light breeze helped us forget about the heat, and our model couple were ready for some romantic portraits. Click here to see my favorite pics in a slideshow!

The ceremony was followed by a reception in Downtown Disney at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. Here we continued the romantic photo session, and it was sizzling hot!

One of my favorite shots of the day with Missy looking great in her Monique Lhuillier gown and Steven propping her up on this cool piano. They were so lost in the moment that I think they forgot I was taking pictures.
