I usually have a fond hatred of logo tees, but you can't go past these crazy-arse illustrations.
Anyway, how's everyone's recovery times going? Don't answer, it's rhetorical.

sweet scull

I wouldn't want to meet this Siamese dogfaced man beast in a dark alley, but I guess that's irrelevant really. Much like this whole bunch o' words.

bleed the scene real life review

Let's be upfront about this... I have a propensity toward the dark. Not necessarily macabre, but the dark. Nothing makes the joy more joyful than a seething underbelly of discontent and angst. I listen to a lot of Radiohead... it makes me happy, I'm not a Goths or anything :)

Firstly, this shirt IS pretty. No doubt about that. I hang around with mostly designer types, and this shirt always pulls a positive reaction. Pulling a reaction in any case is impressive because face it, though they are designer arty types, they are still Australians, and getting any more than a grunt and a tipping of the stubby out of them is a challenge.

Secondly is the interaction and ultimate glory of embruing confusion amongst others. They are all like "Wow, that's nice! What does it say? What does it mean?", And I'm all like "It's about wanting to die, and the words are messages of terminal discontent with one's existence". Their faces then drop, or contort with a sense of non-comprehension. Then I'm all like "Cool huh?", smile and go on with my day, just a little happier than I was.

Thirdly, It has a Casper the friendly ghost/dinosaur mashup monster saying "Poop on me". Cool...

Verdict: Certainly our cup of tee.

A guy at work had his hair cut by drunken collegues the other day. Turns out is wasn't as good an idea as you'd think.

eskimo joe

Eskimo Joe was a friendly little Esquimaux, content to wile away the hours wearing his dad's sweaters and releasing friendly JJJ indie pop rock for the long-haired masses. Until one dark day in 2003, when sweet little Joe found that chicks didn't dig the smiley, locked himself in the cupboard for a year and came back all mopey and emo and long, dark haired. ARIA accreditation and double platinum albums followed, until one day he went all Kurt Cobain on the world's ass and found himself immortalised on a baby blue shirt.

cutsey tees at fred flare

Fredflare is one of my super favourites, usually for jewellery and other bits, but now that they've launched these spiffy new tees I can post about them for your tee-reading enjoyments. You'll even get a couple for cheapsies in their surprise sale. Sorry for the boring write-up, I have to play on my new Wii!

kankatee review

I ain't gonna lie, I'm really not into tees with a giant shop title in the design. But I do have a soft spot for this one, and not just because it was free.
"When Bess Attacks" by Kankatee has top quality, superfine printing and I love a hand drawn robot tee with super-fast international delivery.
Using Men's American Apparel as a yardstick, this AAA medium tee runs a teense large, but it's great quality 100% cotton. Ladies tees are classic American Apparel (need I say more).
Who are they? Kankatee run a design comp with a US$200 prize. There are but three four designs at the moment and with one being added per month it seems a long wait for new tees, but I'll be interested to see what they come out with in the future as a browse through their voting section proves promising.

the mighty boosh tour t-shirts are back... or are they?

Whether you're a Mighty Boosh fan or have no idea what the jebus I'm on about, the artwork on this tour tee by Noel Fielding is damn cool. If you're an electro-hipster you might also like their silver-bolt tees - they're often hard to get unless you're into dodgy Ebay rip-offs, but they're in stock at the official store and they sell out quick. If you're in the UK you can get the tour tee from Play.com for £11.99, but the rest of us have to get it from the official store for £15 or preferably you could have a nice brother living in England who'll buy one and mail it to you.
